CNY has come to an end for me..So sad no more visitation and etc :(Today first day at Surgical ward 57.Had orientation with Ward Clinical Instructor.Appointed as ward leader again and Firin my assistant leader.MORE AND MORE RESPONSIBILITIES!!!
Anyway,Haha daffy is assigned to B1 class ward.Yoohoo.Male cubicle, 4 bed-ed each cubicle with Aircon :)Rest of my fellow group mates are all over at B2 with fan-ed cubicles. Haha.But the sad thing is i am going to work alone in Room 11&12. So sad right?Today being the first day at this ward it was seriously boring......Walked into my cubicle guess what i saw?Incharge of 2 rooms 11&12....Room 12 not even a single patient is in there. The cubicle is empty!!!Room 11 actually got 2 patients but 1 of them is transffered to High D so 1 left.
Imagine 2 rooms,8 beds only 1 patient.So boring right? Got nothing to do.So when i am very bored, i keep walking up and down the whole ward from room 11 till room 26...Just keep floating.Did nothing much but just float here and there from:8am -930am: Ward orientation. 930am-10am: Teabreak.10am-12pm: Float.12pm-1pm: Lunch Break.
1pm-3pm: Back to floating routine.3pm-4pm: Slacking session& OFF WORK TIME!!!And after work went to submit my sponsorship documents to SGH HR.Waiting for interview only.Its my second time applying already hope and get it somehow :)
Haha. I cant believe i did nothing today except 1 parameters taking and thats it.What a BORING day!!!!Hope Wednesday i got things to do...Slightly more patients to attend to will do...maybe 2 more?Oh ya had a torturing day today.Had a SUPER DUPER TERRIBLE BAD AND UNBEARABLE STOMACH CRAMP today :(The terrible cramp is like my first time experiencing it..It was so unbearable and torturing.The stomach cramp was so damn pain that i got to keep sitting down when the staff nurses isnt looking.Pain until i can roll on the floor :(Just keep looking forward to go home,bathe,drink a cup of hot milo and rest on my bed.Reached home at about 5plus and slept from 6 to 730pm and the pain is still there.Stupid cramps.....Now im still suffering in silence and the worst thing is that eyes are swelling too... :( *sigh*Anyway,Tomorrow wont be at ward going back to school for Simulation Training.All those boring training topics again. Admission,transfer,pre and post op checklists,positioning and Range of Motion.ALL BORING!!!Tomorrow another long day.
Hope that the stomach cramps will vanish by tomorrow. I dont want another day of torture.
Dont think will be down for excess-H2o tomorrow again.
Neither am i going the next 4 weeks too. All on noon shift.
