This 2days i am at RH A&E having my posting.I expected it to be fun and exciting but some how it was kinda of boring.I didnt learn much there staff there dont really allow us to do skills unless we really ask them and beg them to let us do the skill.Selfish!!!Yesterday,I was alone on morning shift at A&E.I was so so lost,reported for work at 7am.Was sitting around doing nothing but more on supoorting the pillars and walls of the dept.Slacked until 930am. No exciting cases and etc.Then when the clock hit about 10am...Code Blue at ward 7, see nurses running to the ward.When they came back to A&E they start gossiping and talking about the code blue case at the nurses counter in front of other patients.Yesterday i also saw quite a number of cases....some people are really rich came to RH A&E just because of nausea and vomitting.Like wth.Some came in because of a losing finger,some because of cardiac disorder and so on so forth....And i manage to do SIMPLE DRESSING,ECG,FUNCTION TEST and many other skills.Today,Luckily i have got Rafidah to work with me at A&E in the afternoon.Haha...we had fun enjoying ourselves.Not that A&E was happening today but we entertained ourselves.One of the doctor was really very rude...He shouted at us. We didnt do anything wrong but he scolded us because he dont like students to go from bed to bed to observe procedure...wth right? what a unreasonable doctor.Today i went on the Raffles Hospital Ambulance and followed a doctor and SN and fetched a patient to TTSH A&E.After we sent the patient the ambulance broke down.Luckily was after patient was send to TTSH.After that cab back with Dr and SN.When its reaches 3pm the dept was empty with no case once again.So we slacked and even went to Banquet to slack.Shhh....Its a secret!!!Anyway the both days were boring.Tomorrow back to ward9...Yipee.I think i shouldnt complain about ward 9.I miss working same shift as FEZZAH and FITRI!!!Tomorrow working with Feezah.Ward 9 was much better than A&E and SGH is better than RH.But at least i am getting use to RH ward routine and etc.Its much better than when we first came looking so lost.Ok after tomorrow its NURSES DAY CELEBRATION on SAT.JN0704C dancers are performing!!!!All the best!!!!Labels: I WANNA SEE YOU ONCE AGAIN
