8 CHOSEN STUDENTS OUT OF THE WHOLE COHORT FIRST DAY AT RAFFLES HOSPITAL!!!My new group of attachment mates are nice, bonded and fun people:)Today first day was really boring. Whole day orientation and walking only.My legs were like going to break at any moment. The ward is so so so so BIG!!!And ya we got to put on 2 nametags-1 is the Nursing student tag the other is a Raffles student name Tag.....Haiya so many tags!!We got many many things to absorb today, when CI was talking my eyes could not really open.I was struggling to open my eyes. Was so scared that CI would catch me sleeping and i am dead.Raffles is a relatively nice hospital.The ward's rooms are like HOTEL ROOMS!!! There is a suite room too. Its has a bathtub,a personal white robe, plasma flat screen tv.The whole ward is also carpeted.Things that i dont really like about Raffles is that:-We got to be indepedent.-The ward is so big that i will get lost,after one day of orientation and tour round the ward i still dont know where is where and where is the equipments placed and etc.-There are also limited staff to guide us.-Food there are expensive though we have 5% staff discount for any food or cafe outlet at Raffles.-The equipments and etc are so far away from the stations.-I am afraid i cant complete alot of skills over at RH.Tomorrow is going to be hell for me.Anyway, i got 34more days= 7 weeks of attachment over at the hospital.Today lunch 8 of us went to KFC and eat.Then there was a heavy down pour and we could not go back to work.So some of us actually took the opportunity to shop at BUGIS STREET till the rain was slightly better.Haiz Najib and i being the leader of this posting i think both of us are super slack and relax....We were complaining about being leader for every posting, including in school we are in the class committee....Haha are we that popular????I had fun with my group of friends.....we are all crazy student nurses at RH!!! Believe it or not?Reached home at about 5 plus....no dinner at home...and i am too tired to go out and buy food,So forced myself to at least cook Maggie Mee and eat cz the whole day i dint really have proper meal.So ya....Now off to my lala land...I am super tired!!!! Tomorrow morning shift and in the evening eXcess H2o!!!Tata and nite to all!!!!RAFFLES IN ACTION!!!
