DAPHNE CASSANDRA NG
Yo people...Its my final week of Holiday next week...Majority of my Muslim friends seems like they are enjoying their RAYA.View their blogs one by one reminds me of the time when i go JALAN RAYA with daddy.To his friends house and etc.Ok lets not talk too much about it...its making me have mixed fellings :((I am Sad+happy that school is starting soon actually...SAD because... ... i got to travel like from Serangoon North to Simei..at least 1hour journey for me.School is going to be hectic, like duh...Its final lap to graduation..Yipee!!!Going to strive like mad for my GPA...here comes my 3.5 and above hopefully!!! Go daphy go!!!Less time spend on meeting up with my dearest people...full concentration on studies.Godma isnt around this time round :((HAPPY because... ...I get to see my dearest friends around in school for the last time before we venture out on our own career and future.I will be occupied and no more distractions that have been running round in my thoughts.Haha...But anyway i am not going to let anything defeat me till the very end.I will promise myself to keep God in mind always and not fall into temptation and not forsake or neglect him even at my busiest moment. OLD FOLK HOME VISTATION
One thing that i did today...
Joanna invited me yesterday night to join her at the OLD FOLK HOME today morning.
Erm was kinda of half hearted to go...
Firstly- I had to attend Grandpa's 79th Birthday celebration plus gathering.
Secondly- The visit was in the early morning, as early as 8am at Marymount.
Thirdly- I dun know how to ask mum about it, because was arent communicating much yet. Still on notes after notes basis.
Fourth- Wanted to sleep in late. (common excuse)
Fifth- I am just getting better after Thursday Blood Test regular syndrome. Haha.
But afterall something keep me going...
I woke up as early as 615am to get ready breakfast and etc to motivate myself to go for the visit.
Took Bus 156 at about 7am and reached at abot 745am.
Met up with Joanna at the bus stop, walked in together.
Haha some things that we did at the OLD FOLK HOME......
-Washed there laundry and bed covers by handwash NO WASHING MACHINE was used. (Something that i seldom do at home)
-Selected a few old folk to speak to them. (A bit scared cz its my first time)
-Played some games with them to keep them accompanied (This sounds like what i do in IMH)
- Observe the individual behaviour and etc (That is what i always do in IMH..I am used to it)
- Served food and fed some of them (Feeding :) Reminds me of Mdm Tan Ah ma at RH :( )
- 1130am was HOME SWEET HOME!!!
Overall the visit to the OLD FOLK HOME was good. The routine its like what i normally do in nursing profession. Just that i needed to HAND WASH THE CLOTHINGS.... But i thank God for sending me Joanna to invite me there :))
GRANDPA'S BIRTHDAY @ EDEN'S CAFE (ROCHESTER ROAD)
Celebrated Grandpa's 79th Birthday today :))
Ate good food of course.
Went to Uncle's cafe and eat.
Chatted with my cousin whom i haven catch up for quite sometime since Chinese New Year :s
Haha she is also in Nursing but in NP 2nd Year.
Catch up on our individual learning and our hospital routine and environment.
Haha.... Nice catching up with her she is attached to NUH and sometime AH.
Besides talking to my cousin i felt that my relative arent that sociable as i thought.
Even those who are rather close to me especially my Baptiam Godma.
I dun know how to explain that feeling but its just like not as close as what i think we should be.
But anyway i think i have grown up and matured alot after those encounter that i have been through...I can decide and walk the path that i think its right.
I have my own rights of thinking.
Ok i shall not say much here.
Just ring me up or sms me if you people out there wanna know how i am getting on...
I will be more than appreciative....
Anyway ended with some family photo taking session.
Will upload as soon as my cousin send me the photos :))
Hmmm some of my school INTERACTER have flew off to phlippines this morning.
I hope they will go there and fly back safely on the 11th Oct.
Haven been talking much to my RECENT ACKNOWLEDGED GODMA i am starting to miss her.
